Different types of satellite orbits, such as geostationary (GEO), medium Earth orbit (MEO), and low Earth orbit (LEO), are utilized depending on the application's requirements for coverage, latency, and bandwidth.

MEO satellites offer a balance between coverage and latency, while LEO satellites orbit closer to Earth, resulting in lower latency but requiring a larger constellation to ensure continuous service.
