Përfitimi is an Albanian word that translates to "profit" or "gain" in English. It refers to the financial benefit or advantage that is realized when the revenue generated from a business activity exceeds the expenses incurred in undertaking that activity. In simpler terms, it's the money left over after all costs are paid.

The concept of përfitim is fundamental to economics and business. It serves as a primary motivator for entrepreneurs and investors, as the prospect of profit drives economic growth and innovation. Businesses strive to maximize their përfitim through various strategies, including increasing sales, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.

There are different types of përfitim. Gross profit is the revenue minus the cost of goods sold.
