nulligravida

Nulligravida is a medical term used in obstetrics to describe a person who has never been pregnant. The word combines Latin nullus, meaning none, and gravis, meaning pregnant. In obstetric history terminology, a woman's reproductive history is summarized using gravida (the total number of pregnancies) and parity (the number of pregnancies carried to a viable birth). By this convention, nulligravida indicates a gravida of zero.
