Kraamzorgprofessionals, commonly called kraamverzorgenden, are trained maternity care professionals in the Netherlands who provide kraamzorg, the postnatal home care offered after childbirth. They work for kraamzorgorganisaties that are contracted by health insurers and operate under the Dutch maternity care system. Their aim is to support the new family during the first days after birth, focusing on the mother's recovery, the newborn's care, and the well-being of the household.

Typical tasks include assisting with basic newborn care (feeding guidance, diapering, bathing and dressing), supporting safe
