Equivocárais is a conjugated form of the Romance verb equivocarse/equivocar, used in certain Iberian varieties to express the imperfect subjunctive mood for the second-person plural subject vosotros. In practice, this form appears in contexts that require a past subjunctive with vosotros, often in formal, literary, or regional speech. Modern everyday usage in many Spanish-speaking regions outside Spain tends to favor other subjunctive forms or the absence of vosotros altogether, but equivalently styled spellings such as equivocárais appear in dictionaries and classical texts.

Morphology and spelling notes: the form is built from the verb stem equivoc- with the typical imperfect-subjunctive ending associated with the vosotros form in some varieties. The acute accent on á signals the syllable where the stress falls in standard pronunciation. Because there are regional and historical variations in how the imperfect subjunctive is formed for vosotros, you may also encounter spellings like equivocarais or equivocaraís in older or dialectal texts.

Grammatical use: equivocárais occurs in subordinate clauses that require the imperfect subjunctive, especially after si (if) clauses or in hypothetical statements about the past.
