Cenegermin is a recombinant human nerve growth factor (rhNGF) produced by recombinant DNA technology. It is formulated as an ophthalmic solution used to treat neurotrophic keratitis, a degenerative condition of the cornea caused by reduced corneal innervation and impaired healing.
