alusühik
Alusühik is a term used in Estonian to refer to a base unit of measurement. These are fundamental and indivisible units within a system of measurement, from which all other units in that system can be derived. The most common system of base units is the International System of Units (SI).
In the SI system, there are seven base units: the meter (m) for length, the kilogram (kg)
The concept of alusühikud provides a standardized and internationally recognized framework for scientific and technical communication.
