Wyraean

Wyraean is a fictional ethnolinguistic group and the eponymous language used in a number of fantasy and science fiction works set in the Wyraean World. It centers on the Wyraean Archipelago, a coastal region consisting of several large islands and numerous islets located to the north of a fictional continent. The Wyraean people are described as maritime traders and farmers, with a diversified economy based on seafaring, guild crafts, and riverine trade. Their political structure varies by author; commonly depicted as a council-led confederation with rotating leadership chosen by consensus. They are noted for elaborate craftsmanship, weaving, metalwork, and shell inlay.
