Rohwedder

Rohwedder is a German surname. It is most notably associated with Dieter Rohwedder, a German businessman and civil servant who served as the president of the Treuhandanstalt, the agency created to privatize East German state-owned enterprises after German reunification. He was assassinated in 1991 by the Red Army Faction, a left-wing terrorist group. The name itself is of German origin and is primarily found in Germany.
