Punkter

Punkter is the plural of punkt in several Scandinavian languages, generally meaning points or dots. It refers to a precise position, location, or mark used to locate something in space, on a diagram, or on a surface. In mathematics and geometry, a point is a fundamental primitive with no size or shape; it specifies a position. In a two-dimensional plane a point has coordinates (x, y), and in three dimensions (x, y, z). A collection of points can define lines, curves, and polygons: a line is typically defined by two distinct points; a plane by three non-collinear points; a polygon by an ordered sequence of points.

In other fields, points are used as data elements. A data point denotes a single observation in

In everyday language, punkter can also mean marks or dots visible on a surface, and in lists
