Nationalencyklopedin

Published by Nationalencyklopedin AB, it provides a comprehensive reference work on topics across science, culture, society and current affairs, with articles written and reviewed by Swedish scholars and editors. The project began in the late 1980s and produced a multi-volume print edition that established NE as a standard reference in Swedish libraries and schools. In the following years, the encyclopedia was expanded and transitioned into a digital edition, NE.se, which offers searchable articles, cross-references, bibliographies and media, and is updated regularly.
