Musikalische

Musikalische is a term in the German language derived from the adjective musikalisch, meaning "musical." It functions in two main ways: as the attributive feminine singular form of the adjective before a following noun (for example, die musikalische Leitung or die musikalische Bildung) and, when capitalized, as a nominalized form "das Musikalische" that can denote the realm, content, or study of music. In ordinary prose the lowercase form is common in phrases describing musical qualities or activities, while the capitalized form appears in scholarly writing, discussions about music as a field, or in titles.

Grammatical notes: German adjectives decline for gender, number, and case. The feminine singular nominative or accusative

Usage and context: The term frequently appears in everyday German compound phrases such as "musikalische Fähigkeiten"
