Modele is a term that appears in several languages with related meanings and uses. In some contexts it is the plural form of model in Romaniian and Polish, while in others it occurs as an unaccented rendering of the French word modèle when diacritics are omitted. As a result, it can be found in multilingual texts, datasets, and computer filenames where accents are not used.

In Romanian, modele functions as the plural of model and is used in ordinary written language to refer to representations, templates, or typical examples. Examples include phrases like modele matematice (mathematical models) or modele de afaceri (business models). In Polish, modele is the standard plural of model and appears across scientific, technical, and educational writing to indicate multiple representations or prototypes.

In French, the standard spelling is modèle for singular and modèles for plural, meaning a representation, template, or a person who poses in fashion or art contexts. When accent marks are removed, you may encounter the form modele in informal writing, digital text, or programming, but it is not the correct standard spelling in proper French.

Beyond language, the concept of a model is central in science and technology. A model is a representation of a system that can be mathematical, statistical, physical, or computational. In machine learning and data science, models are trained from data to make predictions or decisions and are evaluated for accuracy and reliability.
