MaisonsAlfort

Maisons-Alfort is a commune in the Val-de-Marne department in the Île-de-France region of eastern France, located in the eastern suburbs of Paris. It is part of the Paris metropolitan area and lies near other communes such as Alfortville and Créteil. The town has a population of around 50,000 residents and features a mix of residential neighborhoods, parks, and educational facilities.

The commune is best known for housing the École nationale vétérinaire d'Alfort, one of France’s historic veterinary schools, along with a teaching hospital. This institution plays a central role in the town’s identity, contributing to teaching, research, and veterinary services in the region.
