Langgerekte

Langgerekte is a Dutch adjective meaning elongated or lengthened in shape or extent. The term combines lang (long) and gerekt, the past participle of rekken (to stretch). It is used to describe objects, shapes, or periods that are noticeably longer than typical or expected. The form langgerekte is commonly used when the noun it modifies is definite or plural; for example de langgerekte kustlijn or langgerekte vormen. In less specific contexts the neuter indefinite form can appear as langgerekt or langgerekte depending on the noun and article.

Langgerekte is used across several fields. In geography and landscape description it can denote elongated landforms
