Error prevention and recovery focuses on minimizing errors and helping users recover from them. Finally, user satisfaction is about how pleasant the design is to use.

These requirements are usually derived from user research, task analysis, and an understanding of the target audience's needs and capabilities. They serve as a benchmark against which the usability of a design can be measured and tested.
