Endet
Endet is a German verb form. It is the present tense for third-person singular and second-person plural of the verb enden, which means to end. The form appears in sentences where the subject is he, she, it, or you (plural), and it is not capitalized in ordinary text unless at the beginning of a sentence. The spelling ends with -et, following regular weak-verb patterns. In usage, endet is found in phrases such as “Der Vertrag endet heute” and “Die Sitzung endet um 17 Uhr.” The verb enden derives from Germanic roots and is cognate with English “end”; the present-tense suffix -et is a common pattern in German verb conjugation. Beyond its role in grammar, endet is not widely recognized as a standalone term with a separate definition in standard reference works. It may appear as part of longer words (for example beenden, or endete in past) or as a component in digitized text, but any meaning beyond the conjugation is context-dependent.
