Egyptian-influenced, or Egyptian-inspired, describes works in art, architecture, design, or culture that incorporate motifs or symbolism derived from ancient Egypt (c. 3100 BCE–30 BCE). Common elements include hieroglyphic inscriptions, the ankh, scarab beetles, lotus and papyrus motifs, sun disks, obelisks, and representations of pharaohs or the afterlife.
