ETIAS

ETIAS, the European Travel Information and Authorization System, is a planned entry pre-screening mechanism developed by the European Union to assess the eligibility of visa-exempt third-country nationals before they travel to the Schengen Area. The goal is to strengthen border security, speed up border checks for routine travelers, and better manage migratory flows by checking traveler information against EU security databases such as the Schengen Information System II and Interpol.

Under ETIAS, travelers from visa-exempt countries will be required to submit an online application before their
