Dokonanych

Dokonanych is a Polish word form that functions as the genitive plural (and, in practice, also the accusative plural for masculine personal nouns) of the adjective-past participle dokonany, meaning completed or accomplished. It is derived from the verb dokonać, which means to accomplish, perform, or carry out. As an imiesłów przymiotnikowy bierny (past participle used adjectivally), dokonanych marks a resultative state: something that has already been brought to completion.

In use, dokonanych appears to describe nouns in plural that have reached a finished state. It declines like a regular Polish adjective, with the form fixed as dokonanych in the genitive plural and in the accusative plural. The surrounding noun determines the case or prepositional construction, for example when combined with a plural noun in genitive: dokonanych czynności (completed actions) or with another plural noun in genitive: dokonanych zmian (completed changes). It can also occur after prepositions that require the locative or genitive cases, such as po dokonanych badaniach (after completed studies) or w wyniku dokonanych prac (as a result of completed works).

The term is commonly used in formal, technical, or written Polish to indicate that an action or set of actions has been finalized. It contrasts with forms indicating ongoing processes (such as dokonuwany or dokonujący) and with the base adjective dokonany used in other genders and numbers.
