Distributia is the Romanian term for distribution and can refer to the general act of distributing or spreading things, as well as the specific concepts named "distribution" in various fields. The word derives from Latin distributio and is used across disciplines to describe how resources, information, or probabilities are allocated over space, time, or outcomes.

In mathematics and statistics, a distribution describes the probabilities of the possible values of a random variable.
