Changangkha

Changangkha is a locality in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The area is best known for Changangkha Temple, a historic Buddhist temple perched on a hillside above the suburb that offers views across the Thimphu Valley. The site functions as both a religious center and a landmark for residents and visitors.

The temple is one of the older monastic sites in Thimphu and is dedicated to Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara).
