Betriebsverfassungen

Betriebsverfassungen is the term used for the framework of employee representation and participation in German companies, anchored mainly in the Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG). It governs how workers organize themselves within a business and how they collaborate with management on issues affecting the workplace. The concept applies to private sector workplaces with at least five employees and forms the basis for how workers influence working conditions, social affairs, and organizational changes.
