BSP

BSP is an acronym that can refer to several distinct concepts in computing, hardware, finance, and industry.

Binary Space Partitioning refers to a method used in computer graphics and game development to organize objects within a 3D space. It partitions space with lines or planes to build a BSP tree, enabling efficient visibility determination and rendering order. The technique was prominent in classic engines such as Doom and Quake, where it facilitated level traversal and collision queries. Modern engines use a variety of approaches, but BSP concepts still influence level design and spatial data structures.

Board Support Package denotes a collection of software and configuration that allows an operating system to run on particular hardware. A BSP typically includes boot code, device drivers, and hardware initialization routines, providing a hardware abstraction layer and enabling portability of software across boards and platforms. It is commonly used in embedded systems and is often supplied by hardware vendors or platform teams.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is the central bank of the Philippines.
